The Stopover refit
One cart never fits the whole trail. Wheels that climb the grassy slope sink in the puddle.
- One
Build for this leg
Lay twigs, acorn wheels, seed pods, leaf sails and coiled tendrils on a leaf, then set off. Real physics decides whether it holds.
- Two
Stop and refit
At every stopover the run halts. Take the cart apart and rebuild it from what it carried and the spare parts waiting there.
- Three
Carry for the next
Only parts fixed on the cart come along. Haul a pod over the hill now, or there is nothing that floats at the pond.
