Keyturn Keep

Turn the march around.

Wind-up tin toys pour out of a toy chest to topple a pillow fort. You have no cannon, only brass keys on the quilt's seams. Every toy that passes a key turns around and marches home on your side.

A Keyturn Keep level: grey tin mice march down a patchwork quilt; at a brass key on a seam one turns round and brass, and turned toys march back up to the toy chest

Every soldier you have was theirs a second ago

Keys, not cannons

Drag a turnkey gate along its seam to meet the march. Each toy that crosses is wound backwards: its key turns brass and it heads back up the quilt. A key holds ten turns and winds back up while you wait.

One move, two jobs

A turned toy marches back up its own column and knocks over the next toy coming down, one for one. Where you place a key decides who gets stopped and which lane your counter-march clears.

Toys with tempers

Mice walk straight in. Beetles crack their shell on the first gate and only turn on the second. Bears are slow, need four turns of a key, and knock four pillows off the fort if they reach it.

A minute or two a level

Fill the chest until the lid shuts before the fort loses its 20 pillows. Half gates turn every second toy, a tap drops a pillow on the closest toys, and three sewn buttons wait on every quilt.
