Brinestack
Tactical dive game · iPhone

Drag one deck. Save the whole stack.

Brinestack is tower defense where the tower moves. Your weapons ride on a stack of decks towed along the sea floor. Sea creatures hit it at four heights, and you drag the right deck to meet them while the dive runs.

A dive: a stack of copper-banded pressure-hull decks hangs from a tow cable above the sea floor, a blighted coral nest ahead and creatures closing in.

Your tower never had to stay put.

The problem

Builds lock at the start

Most tower games freeze your setup before the wave arrives. When the wave changes shape, you watch.

Down here

The sea hits every height

Jellyfish sting the top deck while your Flak sits at the bottom. A sea star climbs past a Clamp two slots too low.

Restack

Move any deck, any time

Drag a deck to any slot mid-dive. Decks in the middle mend while nothing hits them, so where you put them matters twice.

  • HIGHJellyfish sink onto the top deck
  • MIDEels strike the middle deck
  • FACESea stars climb the stack
  • LOWCrabs and hermits hit the bottom deck

What you get

Six weapons, each with a reach

Harpoon, Clamp, Flak, Mortar, Coil and Fan each cover only some heights. Spend the pearls you collect mid-dive to repair a deck (Patch) or make it fire faster (Overdrive).

36 dives, three seas

The Shallows, Kelp Deep and the Trench, each deeper and busier. Between dives, spend your shells at the Dock on tougher decks, faster restacks and extra starting pearls.

Fair by design

No ads, no account, no tracking. Your progress stays on your phone, and it plays offline.

Mid-drag: a deck lifted out of the stack as a glowing ghost, with an insertion line showing the slot it will drop into.

How to play

  1. Read the sonar. The SONAR panel counts creatures by the height they attack: high, mid, face and low.
  2. Drag a deck to the threat.Put the weapon that reaches that height where the hits land. Keep a hurt deck in the middle so it mends.
  3. Crack every nest.Clear the dive, earn stars and shells, then refit your decks at the Dock.
