Your coins stay on your phone.

Coin Cubby is a puzzle game. It does not ask who you are, it has no account, and it sends nothing about you anywhere. This page covers the iPhone app and this website.

What the game keeps on your device

  • The run in progress: the coins in every pocket, the current mission and the counts of deals and moves. It is saved after every move so you can carry on later.
  • Your best coin and how many trays you have completed.
  • Your booster stock (Undo and Hammer), and which first-time coin gifts you have already been given.
  • The identifiers of purchases already credited, so a purchase is never added twice.
  • Whether sound is on or off.

All of this is stored in the app's own storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it, including any boosters you have not used.

What the game does not do

  • No account and no sign-in.
  • No advertising and no ad networks.
  • No analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind, including across apps and websites.
  • No access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.
  • No data is sold or shared, because none is collected.

The game needs no internet connection to play. The only service it talks to is Apple's App Store, through the system's in-app purchase framework: when the app starts and when you open the booster shop, to load the packs' prices and to deliver any purchase that was interrupted, and when you buy something.

Purchases

Coin Cubby is free to play. Optional booster packs are sold through the App Store and handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. The game only learns from the App Store which packs are for sale, their prices in your currency, and that a purchase went through.

This website

This site is a set of static pages hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other servers: the fonts and images come from this site. GitHub, as the host, may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses for security; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Children

The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases go through the App Store, where parents can require approval with Ask to Buy.

Changes

If the game starts to handle any data differently, this page will change first, with a new date at the top.
