Common questions
- How do I restore a purchase?
- Open Settings from the dive map, or the Shop, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. A purchase that finished while the app was closed is picked up the next time you open it.
- What is a relay?
- When you die, that attempt becomes a relay: on your next try of the reach it runs the same route and fires the same shots in cyan, and its shots damage machines and bosses. You can have up to three relays at once. Relays cannot be hit and cannot finish a reach for you, and they clear when you finish the reach.
- What does a Spare Tank do?
- When you are out of air (all three tanks of the dive spent), a Spare Tank restarts the reach you were on, with your relays still with you. You can use up to two per dive. You start with 3, earn one for each dive you clear for the first time and for each dive you first finish with three stars, can trade 200 salvage for one, or buy a pack in the Shop. Without one, you can always restart the dive from Reach 1 for free.
- How do I play?
- Drag on the left half of the screen to run and aim in eight directions (a light push only turns the gun). Tap on the right to jump, and hold LOCK to keep your aim while running. Your gun fires by itself when a machine is in view. Settings › How to play shows the controls and the words on screen.
- How do I reset my progress?
- Progress is saved only on your device, so deleting the app removes it and a fresh install starts over. Purchases are kept by the App Store: after reinstalling, tap Restore Purchases to get the Full Campaign back. Spare Tanks you bought are used up like any consumable and are not restored.
- Is my progress synced between devices?
- No. Progress stays on the device you play on and is not uploaded anywhere.
Purchases and refunds
Trench 1 is free. The Full Campaign ($3.99, one-time) opens Trenches 2 and 3 and two suits. Spare Tank packs (5 for $0.99, 15 for $1.99) are optional. For refunds, use Apple's Report a Problem page; we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
